On 7/19/2017 I sent the following email to Contributors and Editors to announce the upcoming Look 17 Upgrade:

Dear Colleagues,

We’re excited to rollout Look 17 this summer. As a valued content team member, we want you to know what to expect during the Look 17 Upgrade. For some sites, we have already begun this process.

What’s Look 17?
For the past few years, LLUH has been working with an agency to develop a new look and feel for our websites that puts patients, students, and community first. This new design system streamlines website setup and highlights our unique stories.

When will my site be upgraded?
The Web Steering Committee approved the designs last fall, and the agency is almost done building them. We’ll upgrade Academic sites this summer. Once those are complete, we'll start rolling out the health care and other sites. On the Web Center blog, you can find the Academic Sites Upgrade Schedule that Web Steering approved.

How will you upgrade my site?
This is where we need your help. Your Business Analyst, together with the primary contacts for your site, will coordinate the upgrade plan and develop the upgrade schedule. We may ask you to:

•    With your BA, create the upgrade plan
•    Learn to use the Look 17 design system for your site
•    Test and approve the new site during a three-day content freeze

What if I want more features?
Upgrading your site is just the beginning. We’ll continue collaborating and aligning your site with the new content strategy over time. After the upgrades, we’ll continue developing new features, too. The Web evolves constantly, so we keep innovating.

Please reach out to me or your Business Analyst with questions and concerns.

Thank you,

Ralph M. Ambrose — Director of Web Services
